I just started volunteering at Texas Children's Hospital a few weeks ago and it is so much fun!! I wanted to post this for any of you that is looking for a volunteer opportunity. I volunteer at Radio Lollipop which is their internal radio station. The volunteers go to all the floors to get the patients, siblings, and parents to do a craft and then we "judge" the crafts and announce the winners on the radio. Meanwhile, the kids can tune in and request songs, tell jokes, etc. It is just amazing to watch these kids faces light up when we come into the room.
